Introduction

William Rudman Associates provides specialized training in the legal aspects of discipline and performance and in the day-to-day dealings with union and bargaining-unit employees.

Our seminars inform attendees of their rights and responsibilities when confronted with the need to take disciplinary or performance-based actions or when confronted with complaints of discrimination, retaliation, or with unfair labor practice allegations and grievances.

The courses have been given over 800 times to various agencies and interagency groups since 1993. They are not only highly informative but have been described many times as "entertaining", "enjoyable", and "pure fun".

Messrs. Rudman and Doggett and Ms. Wink use hundreds of actual federal employee cases from the courts, Merit Systems Protection Board, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Federal Labor Relations Authority to illustrate the points to be made.

The discrimination section of the discipline course, expanded out, can be utilized as a practical component of diversity training.
