Robin Wink purchases William Rudman Associates, Inc.

We are excited to announce the sale of William Rudman Associates, Inc (WRAI) to Robin Wink. Robin has been the lead trainer for WRAI for more than a year and will continue training for her new company, Rudman Wink Associates, LLC.

WRAI was founded by Bill Rudman in 1993. Having held every management position in the federal government from first-line supervisor to administrator of an agency, Bill recognized the need for specialized training for managers to understand the federal personnel system. After his retirement, Bill dedicated his energy to sharing his expertise in management and federal law through training seminars. He hoped his teachings would inspire managers and give them the confidence to take difficult but necessary personnel actions. Bill had a remarkable sense of humor and audiences were spellbound listening to his stories. His courses have been presented over 800 times to various agency and interagency groups over the past 13 years and as part of The Brookings Institution Executive Education curriculum. Bill’s courses were not only highly informative, but often described as "entertaining," "enjoyable" and "pure fun." Since Bill's death in September 2006, his wife Nancy has run WRAI and his associates Robin Wink and John Doggett have presented WRAI seminars.

Robin plans to continue Bill’s legacy by providing educational, informative, interactive, and entertaining seminars in federal personnel law. Bill and Robin met at a training session at The Brookings Institution in the summer of 2005, and Bill saw a bit of himself in Robin. She had substantial management experience as well as legal expertise in federal personnel cases. She also had proven credentials as a trainer, having been a regular and favorite instructor for the Department of Justice. Bill had planned to sell WRAI to Robin and, in this transaction, we are fulfilling that commitment.
